Janet Anderson is a seasoned professional with a passion for assisting organizations in effectively managing the most complex and resistant workplace performance and behavior issues. Over the course of her 20 years as the Director of Employee Relations for the University of Nevada, Reno, a position which additionally assists the three northern Nevada community college campuses within the Nevada System of Higher Education, she’s developed expertise in risk management, human resources, social work, and mental health. Her extensive experience in mediation and executive coaching facilitates the ability to understand the full context in which performance and behavior problems emerge and are sustained by the organization – and how to address them.

Janet holds certificates in Conflict Resolution from the University of Utah, the Utah Bar Association, the Center for Dispute Resolution in Santa Monica, California, and Coaching Abrasive Leaders from the Boss Whispering Institute in Portland, Oregon. She’s a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Montana and Nevada, a certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
