Not only are the workers affected from workplace bullying, but it has come to light  that organizations are suffering financial costs in order to deal with work place bullying.

“Even though it may be difficult to tabulate the exact costs that an employer faces when a bully is operating within the organization, there is little doubt that there are financial impacts. Despite this dismal fact, some researchers suggest that workplace bullying may actually be on the rise.”

Organizations need to realize the costs of work place bullying and take a firm stance on the issue in order to create changes to benefit employees as well as themselves.
