Do you want to help clients create better work environments through training program facilitation?
Civility Partners is a strategic HR consulting firm focused on helping organizations create cultures where their employees can thrive. Our services include training on topics related to this endeavor, including resolving workplace bullying, CA-compliant harassment prevention training, building civility, bystander training, supervisory skills, effective performance and behavior management, and more.
We also specialize in executive coaching for aggressive and abrasive leaders, and provide extensive consulting services related to culture change (including climate surveys, strategic plans, leadership coaching, etc.)
As our training facilitator you will be responsible for learning and delivering Civility Partners’ training programs in the San Diego area and nationally in a variety of industries, including Fortune 500’s, the military, nonprofits small and large, finance, manufacturing, and everything in between.
This is not a full-time position. We are looking for 1-3 trainers to rely on when we book training clients, depending on the selected candidates’ schedules and availability. We are currently delivering training programs between 1 and 6 times a month, but expect that to grow as the CEO removes herself from delivering training and focuses more of her time on business development activities.
The CEO is an internationally recognized expert in dealing with toxic work environments, has written three books, and as appeared on/ CNN, NPR, USA Today, and other national news venues, and wants to take her business to the next level!
We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Some experience facilitating training programs in a variety of settings and in topics related to our work (communication skills, emotional intelligence, management skills, etc)
- Exhibit learner-centered facilitation skills
- A strong level of comfort addressing difficult training attendee situations (e.g., an argumentative attendee, attendees who have experienced bullying and are hurting, etc)
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience in the business world so that you can respond to real-world questions from attendees
This position pays between $20-30/hour, depending on your experience, and of course we cover any travel for clients.
How to apply:
If you’re interested, we’d like to check out your facilitation abilities by having you come to our office and provide a 15-minute training on a topic of your choice. We expect slides and a minimum one-page handout so we can see how you interact with those items as you train.
Please send your resume (and a video of you training if you have one) directly to Catherine@CivilityPartners.com, and if you have what we’re looking for we’ll give you a call!
